The day prior to thework placement:
The Day prior to the start of my placement and I am feeling a little apprehensive, I think it is because I am slightly out of my comfort zone as I am working with a team that I have never met. I am getting anxious thoughts of what they will think of me and what happens if they don't like me or agree with the theories I am implementing. On the plus side, I have submitted a detailed training programme to Graham (Head coach) and it has been given the all clear. Below is an over view of the training program aims and a plan, in red, on how I am going to use my 60 hours. Just to clarify my thoughts on my training program Periodisation; due to Monday being post match day I decided that a light session based on correct technique was most suitable, this will also provide the stepping stone for the strength session on Friday. The Wednesday and Friday sessions were determined on refractory periods, power training fatigues predominately the central nerves system which takes approximately 72 hours to fully recovery and Strength training fatigues predominately the muscular system which takes closer to 48 hours.
